RCW 10.101.050 and relevant portions of the Washington Public Defense Standards require that all Public Defenders attend at least seven hours of Continuing Legal Education ("CLE") in topics related to their public defense practice.
As part of its on-going commitment to the quality of public defense services it provides to its clients, Benton County OPD frequently offers no-cost CLE seminars to public defenders. Dates and details for upcoming seminars are always posted on this page.
